H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Aden Houssein ABDILLAHI, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Republic of Türkiye, as part of SESRIC’s continuous endeavours to strengthen ties with the OIC Member States’ missions to Türkiye.

H.E. SELÇUK conveyed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome extended to her. During the meeting, she provided a brief overview of SESRIC’s impactful work in its mandate areas, featuring several research reports, capacity building programmes, and statistical activities, particularly the ones that concern Djibouti.

Moreover, H.E. SELÇUK briefed on the existing collaborative endeavours between SESRIC and national institutions of Djibouti, while also highlighting SESRIC’s readiness for further expansion of this cooperation through various potential opportunities.

SESRIC has organized 49 capacity-building activities for the benefit of the public institutions of the Republic of Djibouti so far, showing the Centre’s commitment to fostering growth and development for the OIC countries.

At the end of the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK emphasised the Centre’s willingness to contribute to the initiatives or endeavours envisioned by Djibouti with a view to cultivating a prosperous future for the people of Djibouti in particular and the OIC community in general.
