Within the framework of the SESRIC Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SE-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with Borsa Istanbul, the Secretariat of the OIC Exchanges Forum (OICEF), will organise a Training Course on “Harnessing Digitalization and AI for the Advancement of OIC Stock Exchanges” on 21-22 May 2024 through an online video conferencing platform.

The training course will be provided by competent experts from Borsa Istanbul for the benefit of experts and executives from Stock Exchanges and relevant national institutions in the OIC Countries.

The main objective of the training course is to provide insights on the latest trends in the digitalization, emerging technologies and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications relevant to Stock Exchanges. Furthermore, the activity aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and strategies to navigate the complexities of digital transformation, optimize operational processes, enhance market efficiency, and drive sustainable growth and competitiveness among the Stock Exchanges in the OIC countries.

The Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SE-CaB) was developed and initiated by SESRIC in 2011. The Programme aims at supporting and contributing to the efforts of the OIC Member Countries towards strengthening their institutional and human capacities by sharing knowledge, experiences and best practices among the Stock Exchanges and relevant Ministries.

Within the framework of this Programme, the Centre organises capacity-building activities by following various modalities such as training courses, training workshops, and study visits.
