Workshop on ‘Developing Pertinent Marketing Strategy for the Destination Senegal’

In alignment with the 12th Session of the Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM) resolution of announcing Dakar as the “OIC City of Tourism” for 2025, SESRIC, under its Tourism Capacity Building Programme (Tourism-CaB), and the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) under its TOURDEV Programme will jointly organise a Workshop on “Developing Pertinent Marketing Strategy for the Destination Senegal” on 06 – 07 May 2025.

The workshop aims to support Senegal’s tourism policy by equipping participating Senegalese experts from relevant institutions with practical tools and strategies for effective tourism marketing and branding.

By reviewing case studies and best practices from OIC countries, the workshop will explore relevant approaches to developing a brand identity for Senegal’s tourism sector. The workshop takes place within the framework of SESRIC’s ongoing efforts to support tourism revitalisation in the African OIC Member Countries.
