Within the framework of the Poverty Alleviation Capacity Building Programme (PA-CaB), and in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), SESRIC will organise a Workshop on “Utilization of Innovation and Technology for Accelerating the Eradication of Poverty” on 21-22 October 2025.

The Workshop aims to provide a platform for sharing knowledge and good practices on how innovation and technology can be leveraged to support poverty eradication efforts across OIC countries. Discussions will address the challenges and opportunities in mobilising digital transformation, innovative financing mechanisms such as fintech, and inclusive solutions that contribute to sustainable development.

The event will bring together experts, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange experiences on practical approaches and policy frameworks that can accelerate progress towards the eradication of poverty.
