SESRIC held a virtual coordination meeting with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MoECRT) of the Republic of Indonesia and Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS) on 30 April 2024. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss collaborative efforts in implementing the matrix of agreed actions from the 7^th Annual Meeting of OIC Institutions (7th ACMOI) on Training of Trainers for Digital Skill Development.

During the meeting, the three partners shared updates on the current state of development and exchanged new ideas for implementing capacity-building activities related to the discussed topics. They agreed to diversify and improve the approach through a series of webinars on “Vocational Education in Business and Industry” and “Digitalisation in Food Security and Agriculture”. These webinars are scheduled to take place in the first and second week of July 2024.

Both the Indonesian MoECRT and IOFS expressed their commitment to advancing together and supporting the development of the new age. They also emphasized the importance of facilitating the exchange of upskilling and reskilling strategies through digitalisation among OIC countries.
