OIC-VET Meetings

Vocational Education and Training Programme for OIC Member Countries (OIC-VET) is a programme prepared by SESRIC in order to improve the quality of vocational education and training in public and private sectors. This is planned to be through supporting and enhancing the opportunities for individuals in OIC Member Countries to develop their knowledge and skills and thus contribute to the development and competitiveness of their economies.

The OIC-VET Programme has been officially launched by H.E. Abdullah Gül, President of the Republic of Turkey and Chairman of the COMCEC, at the COMCEC Economic Summit on 9 November 2009 on the presence of the Heads of States and Governments of the OIC Member Countries.

Sixth Meeting of the Monitoring and Advisory Committee (MAC) of the OIC-VET Programme

SESRIC hosted the “Sixth Meeting of the Monitoring and Advisory Committee (MAC) of the OIC-VET Programme: Implementation Plan of the OIC-TVET Strategic Roadmap 2020-2025” on 19-20 December 2019 in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.

Training of Trainers on Sewing, Woodcraft and Jewellery Design

Within the framework of the OIC-VET Programme, and in collaboration with Altındağ Public Education Centre affiliated to the National Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, SESRIC organised three consecutive training of trainers courses on “Sewing”, “Woodcraft” and “Jewellery Design” on 11-15 November 2019, in Ankara, Turkey.
