H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a meeting with H.E. Prof. Dr. Kemal MEMIŞOĞLU, Minister of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, to further strengthen cooperation in the health sector and explore opportunities for expanding joint initiatives.

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK received a courtesy visit from H.E. Aden Houssein ABDILLAHI, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti and H.E. Khadidjata TOURÉ, Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to the Republic of Türkiye, at the Centre’s headquarters in Ankara.

As part of the “Journey to OIC Countries” series, SESRIC welcomed H.E. Dr. Nasri ABU JAISH, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Türkiye, together with a delegation from the Embassy and a group of Palestinian students, to its Al-Aqsa Library.

Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Service Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and the Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills of Morocco (ANAPEC), organised a Workshop on “Promoting Entrepreneurship Ecosystems in the OIC Member Countries for Sustainable Growth” on 16-17 February 2026. The workshop was delivered by competent experts from ANAPEC in French for the benefit of 63 participants from 14 French-speaking OIC countries.

SESRIC participated in the First Arab Forum on Agricultural Statistics, titled “A Platform for Integration, Innovation, and Evidence-Based Food Security”, organised by the League of Arab States (LAS) on 12–13 February 2026 in Doha, Qatar, on the margins of AgriteQ 2026 (Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition).

A delegation from SESRIC, led by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, participated in the Senior Officials’ Meeting preparatory to the 2^nd OIC Conference of Transport Ministers, which took place on 11 February 2026 in İstanbul.

SESRIC participated in the 6^th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour, held from 11 to 13 February 2026 in Marrakesh, Kingdom of Morocco. Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Conference was hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO).

SESRIC participated in the 7^th Meeting of the Steering Committee for the OIC STI Agenda 2026 held on 11–12 February 2026 in Islamabad.

A SESRIC delegation, led by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, participated in the 2^nd OIC Conference of Transport Ministers, held on 11–12 February 2026 in İstanbul under the theme “Strengthening Transport Connectivity to Deepen Fraternity among OIC Member States.”

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mohammad Jalal Ragheb HAMDAN, Deputy Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of Palestine, on the margins of the 2nd OIC Conference of Transport Ministers (OICCTM) in İstanbul.

Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Service Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and the Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC organised a Webinar on “Supporting NEET Youth with Effective Guidance and Coaching Methods for Career Success” on 11 February 2026.

The 4^th Meeting of the OIC Vaccine Manufacturers Group (VMG) was held on 9–10 February 2026 at the OIC-COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad, bringing together high-level participants from vaccine manufacturers, regulatory authorities, OIC institutions, and international organizations.

SESRIC participated in the 46^th AlBaraka Symposium, entitled “Righteousness and Benevolence in the Islamic Economy: The Way Forward”, organised by the AlBaraka Forum for Islamic Economy under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Madinah Region, on 9–11 February 2026 in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised a Statistical Training Course on “Transport Statistics” for the benefit of 160 participants from National Statistical Offices and relevant national institutions of 24 OIC Countries on 9-10 February 2026 through an online video conferencing platform.

As part of the “Journey to OIC Countries” series, SESRIC welcomed H.E. Moustapha Sokhna DIOP, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the Republic of Türkiye, together with a delegation from the Embassy and a group of Senegalese students, at its Al-Aqsa Library.

Within the framework of the Diplomacy Capacity Building Programme (Diplomacy-CaB), SESRIC hosted a delegation of diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by a representative from the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, at its headquarters in Ankara on 4 February 2026.

SESRIC, in collaboration with the Permanent Observer Mission of the OIC to the United Nations, organised a Panel Discussion on “Activating the Ability Dividend: Policies for Socio-Economic Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities in OIC Member Countries” on the sidelines of the 64th Commission for Social Development (CSocD64) on 4 February 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

SESRIC contributed to the High-Level Side Event “Towards Inclusive Social Development within a Framework of Social Justice”, held on 3 February 2026 on the margins of the 64^th Session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD64) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

SESRIC delegation participated in the 64^th Session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD64), which was convened on 2-10 February 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The event brought together representatives from UN member states, UN entities, International Organisations, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organisations (NGOs) from different regions worldwide.
